CHARLOTTE — The Diocese of Charlotte has announced the dates for nine special collections for 2025.
These annual collections fund vital ministries and help support our priests and religious who give generously of their lives in service to the Church.
The 2025 special collections and their dates are:
- JAN. 18-19: Combined Mission Collection to benefit the Church in Latin America, the Church in Central and Eastern Europe, the United States Mission Appeal (Black & Indian Missions), Catholic Home Missions, and the Church in Africa
- APRIL 19-20: Seminarian Education Collection (first of two collections)
- MAY 17-18: International/National Combined Collection to benefit Catholic Relief Services, Collection for the Holy Land, Collection for the Works of the Holy Father (Peter’s Pence), Catholic University of America, Catholic Communications Campaign
- AUG. 30-31: Archdiocese of Military Services
- SEPT. 20-21: Priests’ Retirement Benefits
- OCT. 18-19: World Mission Sunday (Propagation of the Faith)
- NOV. 1-2: Seminarian Education Collection (second of two collections)
- NOV. 22-23: Catholic Campaign for Human Development
- DEC. 13-14: Religious Retirement
