KERNERSVILLE — The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus at Holy Cross Church in Kernersville, in partnership with the local Boy Scout troop and local law enforcement, held a flag retirement ceremony June 16.
During a flag retirement ceremony, old, worn, faded or damaged American flags are methodically cut into smaller pieces and respectfully incinerated.
