GREENSBORO — St. Pius X Knights of Columbus Council 11101 annually sponsors an essay contest giving St. Pius X students an opportunity to define themselves and their role as students and citizens grounded in faith in the community as well as to strengthen bonds between the student body and the Knights of Columbus.
This year, judges chose four essays that they determined merited equal recognition. The committee, therefore, decided to award certificates to each of them as well as a cash prize of $50. Winners were Eliza Ofsanko, Tate Chappell, Olivia Henn and Eliza Trotter.
